The Journaling Muse – Issue #16: Your Inner Seasons

A soft space to reflect, reconnect, and create with feeling.

Dear Reader,

There are seasons in nature—and seasons within us.

Lately, I’ve found myself in a quiet kind of spring. Not the bright bloom of instant change, but something deeper: a shift in the soil. A re-rooting.
For the past two weeks, I’ve been immersed in Dr. Joe Dispenza’s meditations—softly but steadily transforming. His work invites us to become aware of unconscious habits, release emotional baggage, and consciously choose new thoughts and feelings.

He teaches that when we change our internal state, we change our entire reality.
And isn’t that what spring does? Quietly, it asks us to let go of what no longer serves us—and to believe that something new can grow.

This is what I’ve been working on, and maybe you are too.
Spring isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it’s the whisper that says:
You’re ready.

Reflection Prompts:

Take your journal, a cup of tea, and settle in. Let these questions open a window inward:

  • What season are you in right now—emotionally, creatively, spiritually?
  • What are you ready to release—or welcome?
  • What part of you is waking up again, even gently?
  • What patterns are ready to break, so something new can root and bloom?

Art Prompt: Awaken Your Inner Season

Dive deep into the vibrant landscape of your soul and bring your Inner Season to life!
Whether you paint, draw, or collage, use bold colors, dynamic shapes, and rich textures to capture the raw energy of where you truly are right now—not where you think you should be.

Imagine your artwork as a portal—a powerful expression of your current phase, bursting with the potential to break free from old patterns and cycles.
Channel the spirit of Dr. Joe Dispenza’s meditations: see your art as a conscious act of transformation, rewiring your mind and heart to create a new reality.

Let your creativity flow without judgment.

This is your sacred space to honour your true self, embrace your growth, and ignite the powerful shift from old cycles to vibrant new beginnings.

Literature Thought:

“You do not just wake up and become the butterfly. Growth is a process.”

🎨 This week’s painting: Transformation
It began with meditation, and turned into something unexpected—
A yellow-pink ocean of softness on one side…
And an ancient volcanic mountain rising on the other.
Badacsony—quiet, grounded, and wise—reminds me of my roots.
They feel like opposites: the fluid sea and the still mountain.
But maybe that’s what transformation looks like.
🌿 Sometimes I wonder:
Should I keep going, or is this where I stop?
đź’› What do you think?

Closing Words:

This season doesn’t need to make sense to anyone else.
You’re allowed to grow in silence.
You’re allowed to bloom slowly, beautifully, in your own way.
Let this be your season of sacred unfolding.

With warmth,
Beáta
